The Youth Singers, Chorale and Celebration Ringers of First United Methodist Church of Colorado Springs, Colorado will be appearing at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on 1741 Sayles Blvd. in Abilene today at 7:00pm. The 30 member ensemble of junior high and high school students is under the direction of Rev. Steve Harter, Minister of Music and Fine Arts at FUMC of Colorado Springs. This brings Rev. Harter back to familiar territory, being a former McMurry Chanter in the 1990s. The choir is on their 10 day tour of New Mexico and Texas. The concert, which will feature two singing ensembles and a handbell ensemble, will last about 90 minutes and is free and open to the public.
